Cultural Dance of Sri Lanka

Available historical evidence says that many forms of cultural dances has being developed from 6th century B.C to up to date. In this small fabulous Island of sri Lanka there mainly three types of which can divide according to the arias of birth of these fascinating cultural heritage. Those are "Up-country dance" (Kandyan Dance), "Low-Country Dance" & Sabaragamu Dance". There are substantial differences in these three types of dances, which anybody can identify and get the artistic feeling of it. At the same time we can obviously divide this attractive dances as ritual dances and folk dances.

In this special entertainment program we are in our best to perform a combination of all these different cultural heritage of our Island.

Creative Traditional Low Country Dance (පහතරට නැටුම)
